Kathmandu, Nov 5, Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Chet Narayan Acharya, is going on a visit to China, leading a seven-member delegation, to participate in an international conference to be held in Sichuan Province from November 11-13.
A meeting of the Lumbini Province Government today approved the Chief Minister's visit to China, said Dinesh Panthi, the provincial government spokesperson and Minister for Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives. The Chief Minister will be accompanied by Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Dhanendra Karki, Chief Secretary Mahadev Pantha and other high-level officials of the provincial government during theisit.
Lumbini Province and Sichuan Province have established sisterly relations in 2076 BS with the objective of further promoting mutual cooperation and goodwill between them.
