Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, has called on all stakeholders concerned to work for creating a foundation for the proper utilisation of capital and skills from the foreign employment and thus contributing to the Gross Domestic Product.

Speaking at the 31st AGM and an election of the Nepal Association of Foreign Employment Agencies here today, the Minister said the government is the maximum utilisation of capital and skills of foreign employment returnees.
He also pledged the government's ever-readiness to enable an atmosphere for safe and decent jobs for Nepalis in the international labour market.
Also addressing the event, Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security, Sharat Singh Bhandari, shared about the Ministry's efforts for verification of Europe's demand letter and for the exploration of new employment destinations.
"We will verify the demand letter from the Europe within a month. The Act has been amended by withdrawing the provision warranting the foreign employees agency to send at least 100 workers annually to be eligible for the renewal," he said.
Association President Rajendra Bhandari urged the government for being proactive for the revisions of acts and rules as per the demand of time.
He drew the government's attention to the management of service fees and cost fixation of workers.
The AGM will conclude by electing a new 21-member executive committee.
