Kathmandu, Dec 20, From its humble beginnings as Laxmi Mithai Bhandar, a sweets shop established in 1973, Laxmi Group has grown into a dynamic conglomerate, now celebrating its 51st year of success. The group has

expanded its reach across various sectors, including automotive trading (covering both passenger and commercial vehicles, as well as auto components), manufacturing (specializing in steel, paper, plastic,

and confectionery products), and involvement in the sports industry. Over the past five decades, Laxmi Group has made a significant contribution to the nation's development, employing over 2,000 people.

In honor of this milestone, Laxmi Group has continued its tradition of corporate social responsibility (CSR) through a range of community-focused initiatives. These efforts, designed to give back to the

communities that have supported the group's growth, include a blood donation drive, with over 100 employees participating.

Additionally, Laxmi Intercontinental supported the 'Self-Help Group for Cerebral Palsy' in Dhapakhel by donating stationery and supplies, reinforcing the group's dedication to

social causes. Hyundai Kathmandu, a key member of the Laxmi Group, led a cleaning campaign near the historic Bhatbhateni Temple in Naxal, further demonstrating the group’s commitment to environmental stewardship.

As Laxmi Group celebrates this remarkable milestone, it reaffirms its unwavering dedication to both corporate excellence and social responsibility, reinforcing the belief that business success and

community welfare can go hand in hand.
