Kathmandu- Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Meda Toru has presented his certificate of office to President Ram Chandra Poudel. On Thursday, he reached the President's Office and presented his certificate of office.

On the occasion, Ambassador Meda and President Poudel discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, Japan's long-standing economic support for Nepal's prosperity and active people-to-people exchanges shown by the growing Nepali people in Japan.

Ambassador Meda stressed the need to further strengthen the long-term and cordial relations between Nepal and Japan in the context of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2026.
