According to renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the upcoming iPhone 17 Air may have a thickness of just 5.5mm at its thinnest point. This would make it the thinnest iPhone in history, surpassing the iPhone 6 (6.9mm) from 2014.For comparison, last year’s M4 iPad Pro (11-inch model) featured a thickness of 5.3mm, giving a clearer picture of how slim the iPhone 17 Air might be. Kuo also reported that the device will not include a SIM card slot, likely part of Apple’s effort to create the thinnest possible iPhone.
