
Gold Price Hits Record High in Nepal, Reaches Rs 175,200 Per Tola

Kathmandu, March 18: The price of gold in Nepal has reached an all-time high, reflecting global market trends. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold has increased by Rs 1,100 per tola (11.66 grams) overnight, reaching Rs 175,200 per tola today.
This surge follows a steady rise in gold prices over the past few days. On Monday, gold was priced at Rs 174,100 per tola, while on Friday, it stood at Rs 174,500 per tola. The sharp increase is attributed to fluctuations in the international market, where gold is currently trading at $3,012 per ounce.
Silver Prices Also Up
Alongside gold, the price of silver has also climbed, reaching Rs 2,050 per tola today.
