Kathmandu- The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has requested to take precautions stating that it has received information from the Department of Water and Meteorology that there will be a change in the country's weather from this afternoon.

Dijan Bhattarai, spokesperson of the authority, has requested to be cautious as cold and cold waves will increase and health problems can arise from cold. He said that there may be snowfall in the highlands and Himalayan areas, rain in some places and cold wave in the plains.

The Weather Forecasting Division has issued a special bulletin related to weather change and said that due to the western low pressure system, there will be partial to normal rain in many places of the country from this afternoon.

The department has forecast light to moderate snowfall tomorrow Saturday in most of the high hilly and Himalayan parts of Far West and Karnali Provinces and some places in the high hilly and Himalayan parts of Gandaki, Bagmati and Koshi Provinces.
