Ambassador Maeda visited Maternity Child Friendship Hospital in Pokhara City.

This hospital was constructed in 2013 upon the request from Pokhara City to Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan with the support of Japan, and has been a symbol of friendship between Pokhara City and Komagane City.

The hospital continues to promote activities to make a safe and secure environment for mothers to give birth and health education for local communities with the support of Japan.
